Welcome to St Marys Park
Nestled on the edge of the Herefordshire countryside just outside Burghill, St Mary’s Park is a unique residential community set within beautifully maintained parkland.
Comprising 96 homes surrounded by nine acres of shared green space, the park offers residents something increasingly rare: a peaceful environment where nature, community and quality of life come together. Mature trees, open lawns, a tranquil lake and the estate’s much loved deer herd create a setting that feels both private and timeless.
St Mary’s Park is more than simply a place to live. It is a place to belong.

A Unique Setting
One of the defining features of St Mary’s Park is its extensive amenity land, owned collectively by the homeowners. These shared spaces form the heart of the community and include landscaped lawns, gardens, woodland areas, the lake and an arboretum that evolves beautifully through the seasons.
Residents are able to enjoy these surroundings every day, whether that means walking through the grounds, observing the wildlife, or simply appreciating the calm and space that the park provides.
The estate’s resident deer herd has become a much loved and distinctive feature of life at St Mary’s Park, adding to the character and charm of the environment.
Managed by Residents
The estate is managed by St Mary’s Burghill Manco Limited, a management company run by a voluntary board of resident directors.
The Board oversees the maintenance of the shared land and amenities, including the lake, trees, landscape and deer herd, ensuring that the park continues to be carefully managed and protected.
This resident led approach helps maintain the quality and character of St Mary’s Park while allowing the community to shape how the estate develops and is cared for over time.

The History
The land on which St Mary’s Park sits has a long and significant history within Herefordshire.
Before becoming the residential estate seen today, the site was home to St Mary’s Hospital, formerly the Hereford County and City Asylum, which served the county for over a century. The transformation of the site into a residential community has allowed the landscape and setting to continue to be enjoyed while preserving elements of its historic character.

A Community of Residents
St Mary’s Park has developed into a friendly and welcoming community over the years. Many residents have lived here for a long time, creating a shared sense of care and pride in the surroundings.
Because the park is owned collectively by the homeowners, there is a strong spirit of stewardship.
Residents play an active role in looking after the environment and helping to maintain the character of the estate for future generations.
